Highlights from the episode:
- On staying with our pets — 7:30 — Our pets are such a part of our life and they give us such comfort and love and it's an unconditional thing that we naturally have as human beings when we bond with our pet, and it's hard to just let that go.
- Meeting people where they're at — 7:58 — We have to respect what someone values and love them for that and try to help them to get to a place where they can leave with whatever that thing is. In this case, it happens to be a pet. I just self identify them in the story, like, what's important to you? Whatever that looks like and I wanna respect that and I think that we have to really learn to do that just as a human being, respecting people and what they value. And because they love it, I love it and I wanna help them have it.
- A different kind of fostering — 10:41 — With the foundation, there's no foster fail because our goal is to return that pet to the survivor. I think that part of it is us creating a community and an environment around people in general that supports their life.
- Animal welfare shifts — 12:17 — In a broader sense of animal welfare, we need to create an atmosphere and environment where we support individuals with their pets. That's how you keep pets in their homes, is that supporting the people that love them.
- Working together — 17:41 — Because I believe that many hands make light work and we all get involved in whatever issue that concerns us. We don't need major corporations. Each one of us are more than a corporation. We have more to bring because we have passion, we have love for animals, we have love for people, and it just adds up.
- Linking resources together — 22:57 — I'm linking a person in need to a person who wants the help. The foundation is just a linkage, and we're honored and humbled that we're able to provide that linkage to people.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
